“I wanted it to stand out from the original show,” says Executive Producer Peter Lenkov. “I wanted that character to have a family around him, people that he relies on.”

Adding more characters gave them the opportunity to build on MacGyver’s character and show other sides of him. Giving him a roommate shows what he’s like when he’s not on the clock. Adding a female boss lets him deal in a more realistic world.

Watak boss baru Matty Webber yang garang dan tegas walau bertubuh kecil tapi sangat membantu dalam semua operasi. Kalau ada boss seperti ini pasti hasil kerja pun akan jadi terbaik.

George Eads as Jack Dalton

Watak yang 'menjaga' MacGyver sangat jauh berbeza ketika beliau melakonkan watak dalam CSI. Kontra habis watak dia dan aku lagi suka watak dia dalam siri MacGyver ni.

MacGyver dulu dengan sekarang dah tentu banyak perbezaan tapi kedua-duanya tetap menarik. Ada aura tersendiri pada watak tersebut.

Tengok berulangkali pun tak jemu.. tapi sayang episode finale untuk season 2 akan berakhir pada Mei 2018.
